San Diego Padres Posters: Machado, Merrill, Tatis and Mason Miller

The Padres swept the Cubs in the Wild Card Series at Petco Park, then dropped two one-run games in Milwaukee to open the National League Division Series. Back home, they beat the Brewers 4-3 in Game 3 on Tuesday to stay alive, but Milwaukee won Game 4 at Petco Park 3-1 on Wednesday, October 7, to take the series 3-1 and end San Diego's season. Petco Park has been kind to them: San Diego went 53-30 at home this season and won both Wild Card games there.

The season is over, but Padres fans still want their favorite players on the wall, and a Padres poster makes a great holiday gift for a lifelong fan. Here is every current Padre we make a poster of and how to choose a size.

Manny Machado poster

Machado has been the anchor of the San Diego lineup for years. The printed Manny Machado poster shows the third baseman in our modern minimalist style, with one clear image and plenty of open space. If you would rather print it yourself, there is a Manny Machado digital poster too.

Jackson Merrill poster

The young center fielder is a favorite for kids' rooms. Choose the printed Jackson Merrill poster or the Jackson Merrill digital poster for print-at-home.

Fernando Tatis Jr. poster

Tatis brings energy to Petco Park every night. The Fernando Tatis Jr. poster is a strong pick for a single statement piece in a 24x36, or as part of a row with Machado and Merrill.

Mason Miller poster

Miller is the closer the Padres hand the ball to with a game on the line. The Mason Miller poster shows him mid-delivery in Padres colors, a nice change of pace from the hitters on a baseball wall.

Digital Padres files

These are digital downloads you print at home or at a local photo shop, not shipped posters:

Printed or digital?

A printed poster arrives on premium matte paper and is ready for a frame. A digital file is something you print yourself, which can make sense if you already have a frame in a specific size or want the art the same day. If you are buying for a game-day room or a gift, the printed version is usually the better pick. Our post on digital downloads vs printed posters breaks down the tradeoffs.

Picking the right size

Every printed poster is on premium matte paper, which keeps glare down in bright Southern California rooms. There are four sizes:

  • 11x14: a door, a shelf or a small desk area.
  • 16x20: one poster over a nightstand or narrow dresser.
  • 18x24: the size most people choose above a bed.
  • 24x36: a big statement piece for a living room or game room.

For a set, keep every poster the same size and the gaps even. Our poster sizes guide and gallery wall guide for bedrooms walk through layouts.

A four-poster Padres wall

Machado, Merrill, Tatis and Miller in matching sizes make a clean row over a bed or couch. Orders of 4 or more posters get free shipping automatically at checkout, so the whole set ships for less than ordering one at a time.
